John R. Schindler

Dr John R. Schindler is a historian, commentator and security consultant who has spent two decades in the US Department of Defense and in the intelligence community as an expert on intelligence and European affairs. He has both taught and drafted strategy, and he served in the Pentagon in all capacities: military, civilian and contractor. Schindler has been affi liated with numerous US/NATO entities, the Partnership for Peace and the Institute for Defense Analyses. He has published several books and written about Eastern European security matters.
