Richard Giragosian
Director of the Regional Studies Center
Richard Giragosian is the director of the Regional Studies Center (RSC), an independent think tank in Armenia. He served as a visiting professor at the College of Europe’s Natolin Campus and at the Yerevan State University. For nine years, Mr Giragosian served on the staff of the Joint Economic Committee (JEC) of the US Congress. In 2000-05, he worked as an analyst for Abt Associates Inc., a social science consulting firm, and was a research consultant for the New America Foundation and the Center for National Policy (CNP) in Washington. In 2002-06, Mr Giragosian served as a guest lecturer for the US Army’s John F Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School at Fort Bragg, NC.
