Foreign Policy Reporter at Axios

Barak Ravid is an award-winning Axios staff politics and foreign policy reporter based in Washington, DC. Prior to joining Axios as a staff reporter, Mr Ravid lived in Tel Aviv and was the author of the "Axios from Tel Aviv" newsletter in which he regularly broke stories related to US national security and foreign policy in the Middle East. Mr Ravid’s reporting has regularly influenced US and Israeli foreign policy, as well as public understanding of those policies and the conversation in Washington and abroad. He was one of the first to report on the Abraham Accords, and his book, Trump’s Peace: The Abraham Accords and The Reshaping of The Middle East, is the most comprehensive account of the diplomacy that led to the historic breakthrough in the region. Mr Ravid also writes for Walla News in Israel and is a political and foreign analyst for CNN.
