Carrie Filipetti
Executive Director of the Vandenburg Coalition
Carrie Filipetti currently serves as the executive director of the Vandenberg Coalition. Prior to this role, she was Deputy Assistant Secretary for Cuba and Venezuela in the Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs and Deputy Special Representative for Venezuela at the US Department of State (2019-21), for which she received a Superior Honor Award. From 2019 to 2020, she served as Senior Advisor to the Havana Incidents Task Force, coordinating an inter-agency effort to address unexplained health incidents affecting US personnel and developing long-term care mechanisms. Previously, Ms Filipetti also served as a Senior Policy Advisor for the United States Mission to the United Nations (2017-19), where she advised US Ambassador Nikki R Haley on counterterrorism, the Middle East, and the Western Hemisphere.
