Dmytro Lubinets

Commissioner for Human Rights at the Ukrainian Parliament

Dmytro Lubinets was appointed to the position of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) on 1 July 2022. In 2019, he was elected to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the IX convocation as a non-party MP for the 60th district (Donetsk Oblast). Mr Lubinets was elected Chairman of the Committee on Human Rights, Deoccupation, and Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories in Donetsk, Luhansk regions, and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the City of Sevastopol, National Minorities and Interethnic Relations. In 2014, he was elected a Member of the Ukrainian Parliament for the 60th district. He took the position of Secretary of the Committee on Regulation and Organisation of Work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Member of the Permanent Delegation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the Parliamentary Assembly of the EU—Eastern Neighbours (PA EURONEST).
