Eto Buziashvili is a researcher at the Atlantic Council, where she studies influence operations and social media manipulation, with a focus on Russia, Ukraine, and the South Caucasus region. Prior to the Atlantic Council, Ms Buziashvili advised the National Security Council (NSC) of Georgia and was involved in developing government’s strategic documents. Before joining the NSC, she worked as a senior analyst at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, where she covered security issues related to Russia and the occupied regions of Georgia. At the foreign ministry, Ms Buziashvili was one of the negotiators at the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) format, where Russian officials and Kremlin-installed leaders of the occupied regions of Georgia addressed the consequences of Russia’s 2008 war against Georgia.
