Heloise Fayet

Research Fellow and the Head of the Deterrence & Proliferation Program at the French Institute of International Relations

Héloïse Fayet is a Research Fellow and the Head of the Deterrence & Proliferation Program at the French Institute of International Relations (Ifri), the leading think tank on international affairs in France. She is also an Associate Researcher at Geode (University of Paris).  Mr Fayet works mostly on the evolutions of nuclear weapons states’ arsenals and doctrines, nuclear and ballistic proliferation in the Middle East and Asia, and the impact of emerging tech, especially AI, on strategic stability. She’s also interested in strategic foresight methods, and Iranian foreign policy. She has been published in several French and international platforms, including the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, Survival, and Politique étrangère.
