Indrek Tarand

Indrek Tarand has been elected twice, as an independent candidate, to serve as Member of the European Parliament, and currently holds the position of vice-chair of the Budgetary Control Committee. He is known as a proponent of transparent governance, and has so far been the longest serving Director General of the Estonian Ministry of Foreign affairs.
