Randy Scheunemann

Randy Scheunemann is a foreign policy analyst and President of Orion Strategies LLC, a Washington DC-based policy consulting fi rm. From 2007-2008, Randy Scheunemann served as Director of Foreign Policy and National Security for the McCain-Palin 2008 campaign. In 2002, he founded the Committee for the Liberation of Iraq (CLI). In 2001, Scheunemann served as a consultant to the Offi ce of the Secretary of Defense. From 1999-2000, Scheunemann served as Foreign Policy Coordinator for the “McCain 2000” presidential campaign. During 1996, Mr. Scheunemann was a senior adviser to Republican Presidential Candidate Bob Dole. Previously, Mr. Scheunemann served as National Security Adviser to Senate Majority Leaders Bob Dole and Trent Lott, and on the staffs of the Senate Foreign Relations, the House Foreign Affairs, and the House Republican Policy Committees. Scheunemann serves on the boards of the International Republican Institute, and the Committee on Israel.
