Shaun Walker is an International Correspondent for the Guardian, focusing on the war in Ukraine and Russian intelligence operations in Europe. He is based between Warsaw, Kyiv, and London. He is the author of two books: The Long Hangover: Putin's New Russia and the Ghosts of the Past (2018) and The Illegals (2025).
