Ambassador Shota Gvineria is a Senior Fellow at Delphi Global and a subject matter expert in national security strategy, NATO integration, hybrid threats, cyber defence policy, and democratic resilience. Amb Gvineria has held various positions in Georgia’s public sector, including as Deputy Secretary of the National Security Council of Georgia, among others. He served as the Foreign Policy Advisor to the Minister of Defence of Georgia (2015–16). From 2010–14, he served as the Ambassador of Georgia to the Kingdom of the Netherlands. In 2010, he was promoted to Director of the European Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia. Prior to that, he served as the Head of NATO Division at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia. From 2006 to 2008, Shota Gvineria served as the Counsellor of the Georgian Mission to NATO. Later, Amb Gvineria joined the Baltic Defence College as a lecturer.
