Ana Revenco
Director of the Centre for Strategic Communication and Countering Disinformation of Moldova
Ana Revenco has served as Director of the Centre for Strategic Communication and Countering Disinformation of the Republic of Moldova since October 2023. In this capacity, she leads the development and implementation of the country’s strategic communication agenda, working to bolster societal resilience against hybrid threats, disinformation and foreign interference.
Between 6 August 2021 and July 2023, she served as Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, where she launched major reforms in internal security, border management, and institutional integrity. Her earlier career includes serving as Executive Director of the International Centre La Strada, where she oversaw programmes addressing human trafficking, domestic violence and child sexual exploitation. As director of the Centre for Combating Trafficking in Persons under the General Police Inspectorate from 2012 to 2015, she contributed to strengthening law-enforcement and victim-protection capacities in Moldova.
