Research Fellow at the French Institute of International Relations
Barbara Kunz is research fellow at French Institute of International Relations’ Study Committee on French-German Relations. She mainly focuses on French-German relations, in particular defense cooperation, as well as on European security and defense affairs. She also follows Nordic-Baltic security issues with a special emphasis on Nordic defense policies. She teaches European defense at Paris’ Sorbonne University and is a frequent commentator in the media. Barbara Kunz holds a Master’s degree from Sciences Po Paris and a PhD from Stockholm University.
