Eric Ciaramella is a Senior Fellow in the Russia and Eurasia Programme and Director of the Ukraine Initiative at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. His work focuses on Ukraine, Russia, and European security. Prior to joining Carnegie, he served as Director for Ukraine at the National Security Council, as a deputy national intelligence officer for Russia and Eurasia at the National Intelligence Council, and as a senior political analyst at the Central Intelligence Agency.
