Fiona Hill

Richard von Weizsäcker Fellow at the Robert Bosch Foundation and Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution

Dr Fiona Hill is a Richard von Weizsäcker fellow at the Robert Bosch Foundation in Berlin, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, and an incoming chancellor of Durham University. Dr Hill previously served as Deputy Assistant to the US President and Senior Director for European and Russian affairs on the National Security Council, and as National Intelligence Officer for Russia and Eurasia at the National Intelligence Council. Her past roles include director of strategic planning at the Eurasia Foundation and director of several projects at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. Her publications include Mr. Putin: Operative in the Kremlin and There Is Nothing for You Here: Finding Opportunity in the 21st Century.
