Harinder Sekhon is Senior Fellow at the Vivekananda International Foundation, a leading thinktank based in New Delhi. Until 2013, she was Senior Fellow of the US Studies Programme at the Observer Research Foundation (ORF). Before joining the ORF, she served as an Intelligence and Strategic Analyst with the National Security Council Secretariat of the Indian Government. She specialises in Indo-US relations, US policy and strategy in the Asia Pacifi c and regional security challenges. She has authored two books: Five Decades of Indo-US Relations: Strategic and Intellectual (2002), and India and the United States: Breakthroughs, Prospects and Challenges Ahead (2008)
