Ia Meurmishvili Volker is a journalist, senior editor, and the anchor of View from Washington, a weekly interview programme produced by the Voice of America’s Georgian Service. She has presented American foreign policy, values and culture to audiences in Georgia since 2009. She also covers American foreign and national security policy concerning NATO, US-Russian, and US-Georgian relations, and regularly appears as an expert commentator on Georgian television news and analysis programmes. She has also lectured at universities in Georgia, and spoken about US politics, disinformation campaigns, and freedom of speech.
