Research Fellow at the Department of War Studies at King’s College London
Dr Jade McGlynn has been a Research Fellow in the Department of War Studies at King’s College London (KCL) since 2023 and a non-resident Senior Research Associate at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. Her research focuses on socio-political drivers and impacts of Russia’s war on Ukraine since 2014. She is the author of numerous academic articles and two books: Russia’s War (2023) and Memory Makers: The Politics of the Past in Putin’s Russia (2023). A frequent contributor to international media, Dr McGlynn regularly consults governments and other entities in relation to Russia’s ongoing war on Ukraine. Dr McGlynn received her DPhil from the University of Oxford in 2020.
