Jakub Kalenský
East StratCom Task Force member at the European External Action Service
Jakub Kalenský started his career as a journalist at Lidové noviny, a leading Czech newspaper. He worked as a political reporter in various print, online and TV media, and in 2012 received the Novinářská křepelka award for promising journalists under 33 years of age. Since September 2015 he has worked in the European External Action Service as a member of the newly established East StratCom Task Force. In this unit, Jakub leads on raising awareness of the pro-Kremlin disinformation campaign and improving the EU’s response.
