Jörg Lau has worked as foreign editor with Die Zeit, Germany’s foremost weekly paper, since 2013 where he writes about topics concerning foreign politics, integration and immigration. Prior to this, he was foreign affairs correspondent in the paper’s Berlin office, covering the German Foreign Ministry and the Chancellery. He has worked for Die Zeit since 1997. In 2000, he was a Marshall Memorial Fellow with the German Marshall Fund in Washington. In 2008, Lau was a visiting scholar at the Center for European Studies at Harvard.
