Jonas Bering Liisberg is the State Secretary for European Affairs and the Arctic at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark. Before taking up this position, Mr Liisberg was the Permanent Representative of the Danish Representation to the European Union in Brussels, State Secretary for Foreign Policy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, as well as Director General for the Parliamentary Ombudsman of Denmark. Mr Liisberg began his career in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark in 1995 and received a master’s degree in law from Copenhagen University.
