Konstantin von Eggert is a Russian commentator and a communications professional. From 2010 to 2015, he worked for Kommersant, Russia’s oldest private media group, focused on economic, fi nancial, and business news. His positions included Deputy Editor and Editor-in-Chief of Kommersant FM, Russia’s fi rst ever 24-hour news station. From 2009 to 2010, he served as Vice President for Public and Government Affairs for ExxonMobil Russia Inc. From 1998 to 2009, he was Senior Correspondent and later Editor-in-Chief of the Moscow Bureau of the BBC Russian Service. From 1992 to 1998, he was Diplomatic Correspondent and later Deputy Foreign Editor for the daily Izvestia.
