Lykke Friis
Director, Think Tank Europa
Dr Lykke Friis is director of the Danish think tank Europa. She was prorector at the University of Denmark in 2006–2009 and 2013–2018. She was Minister of Climate and Energy from 2009 to 2011 and member of the Danish Parliament from 2011 to 2013. Previously, Dr Friis was a director of European Affairs at the Confederation of Danish Industries from 2003 to 2006 and a research director at the Danish Institute of International Affairs in 2002. She is currently also a co-chair of European Council on Foreign Relations and the president of the Danish Cancer Society.
