Mehdi Beyad
Senior Teaching Fellow at SOAS, University of London
Dr Mehdi Beyad is currently a senior teaching fellow in the politics department at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. He completed his PhD in International Relations in 2020, examining the geopolitics of the Persian Gulf from the late 1960s to mid-1970s. His current teaching and research focus is on Middle East politics, the climate crisis and global development.
