Rajmund Andrzejczak

Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces

General Rajmund Andrzejczak is a graduate of the Military Academy of the Armoured Forces in Poznań, the Defence Academy of the Czech Army, the National Defence Academy in Warsaw, and the Royal College of Defence Studies in London. He has been awarded the Order of the Second-Class Military Cross - Commander’s Cross, Star of Iraq and Star of Afghanistan for his service in Polish military contingents. In 2016, he was promoted to Major General. In 2018, he was appointed Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces and promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General. In 2019, he was promoted to the rank of General. In 2021, the President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, appointed General Andrzejczak to a second term as the Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces.
