Siddharth Varadarajan is an award-winning journalist and editor and a leading commentator on international affairs. Based in New Delhi, he is founding editor of The Wire, one of India’s most influential media organisations. Mr Varadarajan was earlier the editor of The Hindu newspaper and diplomatic editor of The Times of India. He has written extensively on Indian foreign policy, regional securitym and strategic affairs. Mr Varadarajan is a co-author of Nonalignment 2.0: A Foreign and Strategic Policy for India in the 21st Century. He is the recipient of the Deutsche Welle Freedom of Speech Award and the Shorenstein Award for Journalism.
