Siddharth Varadarajan is the Founding Editor of The Wire, one of India’s most influential media organisations. Mr Varadarajan is an award-winning journalist, editor, and leading commentator on international affairs based in New Delhi. Previously, Mr Varadarajan was the editor of The Hindu newspaper (2012-13) and diplomatic editor of The Times of India. He has written extensively on Indian foreign policy, regional security, and strategic affairs. Mr Varadarajan is a co-author of Nonalignment 2.0: A Foreign and Strategic Policy for India in the 21st Century. He is the recipient of the Deutsche Welle Freedom of Speech Award and the Shorenstein Award for Journalism.
