Siddharth Varadarajan is the Founding Editor of The Wire, one of India’s most influential media organisations. Mr Varadarajan is an award-winning journalist, editor, and leading commentator on international affairs based in New Delhi. Previously, Mr Varadarajan was the editor of The Hindu (2012–13) and the Diplomatic Editor of The Times of India. He has written extensively on Indian foreign policy, regional security, and strategic affairs. Mr Varadarajan is a co-author of Nonalignment 2.0: A Foreign and Strategic Policy for India in the 21st Century. He is the recipient of the Deutsche Welle Freedom of Speech Award and the Shorenstein Award for Journalism.
