Thijs van der Plas
Ambassador of the Netherlands Delegation to NATO
Amb Thijs van der Plas is the Head of the Netherlands Delegation to NATO. Since 1992, he has served as a diplomat in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he has held various positions, both at the Ministry in The Hague and in several postings outside the Kingdom of the Netherlands. He also teaches multilateral diplomacy at the University of Amsterdam. Amb Thijs van der Plas studied Law and Political Science at the University of Leiden.
