Senior Fellow and Director of the Transatlantic Security Programme at the Center for a New American Security

Dr Andrea Kendall-Taylor is a Senior Fellow and Director of the Transatlantic Security Programme at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS). She previously served as Deputy National Intelligence Officer for Russia and Eurasia at the National Intelligence Council and as a Senior Analyst at the Central Intelligence Agency. Outside of CNAS, Dr Kendall-Taylor has been a CNN National Security Analyst, a Distinguished Practitioner at Yale University, and an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University. Her work has been published in numerous political science and policy journals, including the Journal of Peace Research, Democratization, Journal of Democracy, Foreign Affairs, The New York Times, The Washington Post, and Foreign Policy.
