Mingming Shi
Associate Editor, Over the Circle
Mingming Shi works as a project manager for the Icelandic Times and an editor and writer for Over the Circle Arctic news and analysis. She has researched the role of China in the question of Greenlandic independence, Greenlandic politics and economy, and Arctic extractive industries. Mingming Shi grew up in southern China, and moved to Iceland in 2014. Her publications include regular contributions to the online Asia-Pacific news service The Diplomat, as well as various Arctic publications. She is also a frequent speaker at the Arctic Circle Assembly.
