Galina Zelenko is a specialist in the fi eld of democratisation in the post-communist countries of
eastern Europe. She is the author of the books Catch-up Modernization: The Experience of Poland
and Ukraine, The Political Matrix of Civil Society (on the example of Ukraine and the Visegrad
Group countries) and Institutional Changes of the Political System of Ukraine, as well as more
than 30 collective monographs about political processes in the countries of eastern Europe and
Ukraine.
