Jüri Luik

Estonian Ambassador to NATO

Ambassador Jüri Luik is the Ambassador of Estonia to NATO. He has served as the Minister of Defence of Estonia several times and as the Foreign Minister, as well as Ambassador to Moscow, NATO, and Washington. Previously, he was also the director of the International Centre for Defence and Security (ICDS) in Tallinn. Amb Luik is a valued expert on defence and security policy and one of the key architects of Estonia’s NATO policy. As a minister without portfolio, he led the talks with Russia on the withdrawal of Russian forces from Estonia.
