Sociological research shows that up to two-thirds of the population supports changes in Russia. But they are not necessarily the kind of changes that the democratic community likes to discuss, and the majority of those polled have no understanding of how their desired changes might come about.
Masha Gessen, author and journalist at The New Yorker will join the discussion together with Ekaterina Shulman, political scientist and Head of Center for legislative Studies at RANEPA, the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, and Leonid Volkov, politician, cofounder and chairman of Internet Protection Society. The event will be moderated by Artemy Troitsky, a Russian journalist, music critic, concert promoter, broadcaster and an academic.
The discussion will be held in Russian.
